Private Jet Car Service in
Northern Virginia
HEF, JYO & Chantilly Airfields

Private aviation removes almost every delay from a journey except the one on the ground. The aircraft lands when you want it to; then somebody has to be standing beside it. HSB Sedan Service runs the ground half of that for arrivals and departures at Northern Virginia’s general aviation fields and at the private terminals at Dulles.

The airfields we work

HEF
Manassas Regional Airport

The usual choice for Prince William County and the western side of the Beltway, and a common alternative when Dulles slots are tight. Most of our HEF work is corporate — an aircraft in for a day of meetings, with the vehicle holding at the field between legs.

JYO
Leesburg Executive Airport

Loudoun County, convenient for the data-centre corridor and the horse-country estates west of it. Frequently the arrival point for owners and executives whose destination is nowhere near Washington itself.

IAD
Dulles private terminals — Chantilly

The general aviation side of Dulles, handled through the FBOs rather than the airline terminals. This is where most international private arrivals into the region come through, and where our ramp-side coordination applies.

Ramp-side coordination at Dulles

At Dulles we coordinate directly with Signature and Atlantic Aviation, which is the practical difference between a private arrival that works and one that does not. The FBO knows the aircraft’s actual position and timing; we work to that rather than to a filed ETA, so the vehicle is in place for the aircraft instead of the passenger walking out to find a car that is still circling a public lot.

It also means the handover happens where private aviation passengers expect it, inside the FBO’s own flow, rather than at a kerb shared with the airline terminals. If your handling agent needs vehicle details, registration or chauffeur identification in advance, give us the contact and we will deal with them directly rather than routing it through you.

Timing when the schedule moves

Private schedules move more than commercial ones, usually later and sometimes considerably earlier. We track the aircraft rather than the plan. Complimentary wait is 60 minutes and it runs from the aircraft’s actual arrival, not from the time that was filed when the trip was booked — a two-hour slip does not consume a wait window that was never used.

Early arrivals matter just as much. An aircraft that lands forty minutes ahead of schedule strands more passengers than a late one, because the car was dispatched against the original plan. We move the chauffeur up instead. For departures, tell us the wheels-up time and we will work backwards from the FBO’s requirements rather than from a guess.

Keep the chauffeur for the day

For most private aviation clients this is the right structure. Hourly as-directed means the chauffeur is yours for a block of hours: he waits at the field or at the meeting, follows the itinerary as it changes, holds luggage and documents in the vehicle, and is in position when the day ends early or runs three hours long. Nothing has to be rebooked, because the car never left.

It suits a day built around an aircraft particularly well, since the one certainty is that the return time will move. See hourly as directed service.

Discretion

Every HSB chauffeur is background checked, drug tested and licensed for the vehicle they operate, and we never fulfil a booking with a rideshare driver. Non-disclosure agreements are available and are signed before the assignment begins. We move diplomatic delegations and provide recurring transportation for the International Monetary Fund in Washington; we do not name clients, which is the entire point of the arrangement.

If you need unmarked vehicles, no signage, or a chauffeur briefed not to discuss the movement with FBO staff, say so when you book and it goes into the brief rather than being improvised on the ramp.

Vehicles

Executive sedans carry up to three passengers, premium SUVs up to six with luggage, and Mercedes Sprinters up to eleven for a full aircraft load moving together. For larger parties we run multiple vehicles under one coordinator rather than as separate bookings — the same way we handle delegation work. Photographs and specifications are on the fleet page.

Quotes and billing

Give us the tail number or the FBO and the date, and we will confirm the arrangement and the quote in writing before the day, tolls and parking included. Established corporate and aviation-management accounts are billed Net-30 with consolidated invoicing and per-trip references, which is usually simpler for a flight department than settling each leg. Rate structure is on the rates page; call us for a firm number on a specific movement.

Frequently asked questions

Do you coordinate with the FBO rather than waiting outside?
At Dulles we coordinate ramp-side with Signature and Atlantic Aviation, working to the aircraft’s actual arrival rather than a filed ETA, so the vehicle is in position when you step off.

What happens if the aircraft is hours late?
We track the aircraft, not the original plan. The 60 minutes of complimentary wait runs from the actual arrival, so a slip does not consume a window you never used.

What if we land early?
The chauffeur moves up. Early arrivals strand more private passengers than late ones, because the car was sent against the original schedule rather than against the aircraft.

Can the car stay with us between legs?
Yes — book it hourly as directed. The chauffeur waits and follows for the block, which suits a day built around an aircraft whose return time will almost certainly move.

Will you sign an NDA and invoice our flight department monthly?
Yes to both. NDAs are signed before the assignment, and established accounts are billed Net-30 with consolidated invoicing.
